Crocker creates paintings that are drawn from his immediate surroundings. His daily walks, domestic routines and family life are recorded in simple drawings of birds, bricks, worms, cars, bikes, trees, flowers, cats, people, clouds and windows. These objects are then transformed and distilled, using the material of paint, to create images that are still recognisable but sit at the edge of abstraction.
